• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Resolved Change Default IP Address

NicolasP.

Regular Pleskian
I want to change my default IP Address in Plesk. As you can see in screenshot, I have to IPs in Plesk and I want the second one to be the default IP of the server.

This is a failover/cluster IP so every time i create a domain from WHMCS, it goes to the default IP which I don't want and I change it manually to the second one.

How can I do it?

Is there a way to prevent this from reoccuring on it's own? Our server has 2 public IP's and is continually fighting for who's default.

Hello!

This is an old topic, but the issue often happen when dealing with IP addresses. The default server address changes.

Is there a way to prevent this?
