• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

If the above links didn't already help you, you might consider opening your own thread. Please don't hesite to do that and don't try to post on threads, which are months, or years old ( even if the issue/problem might be similar ). Help the community and the forum - users, with decent, exact informations about:

Your operating system ( Ubuntu / Debian / Centos / Windows ... inkl. the version number )
Your current used Plesk Product ( inkl. MU-Number ... i.e.: Plesk 12.0.18, MU #60 )
Your depending installed mail - server software ( postfix, qmail / courier-imap, dovecot, MailEnable, Smartermail, etc. )

Please use a detailed title for your new thread, so that the community and the forum - users may identify the content by the title. Please avoid harassing words like "urgent", "please help" or pretty useless adjectives like "weird", "strange" or descriptions as "not working". Keep in mind, that a lot of users find forum content over search engines like Google/Yahoo/Bing and they mostly won't use such words or description, when looking for content.
A precise description in the title will lead to more visiting users and the result will be a much faster resolution for your issue/problem or question, because more visiting users means more activity and more brain-power. :) ( Example: "Plesk 12.0.18, MU #60 - postfix - "ct-milter: Too many open files" )

It is wise to include log - entries and/or depending configuration files, because this will often point to the exact issue and instead of waiting for a request to post them, you could include it to your thread/post. Please bookmark the following KB - articles, which points to all such files for Plesk:

Plesk for Linux services logs and configuration files ( KB - article: 111 283 )

Plesk for Windows service logs and configuration files ( KB - article: 111 289 )

There are several more interesting commands over the command line ( CLI ) for Plesk for example, please have a look at the next informations to solve a lot of issues just with a single command. Keep in mind, that the additional string "--help" and a command often leads to usefull informations about command options!
