Information about Ports Internet

phan_han

New Pleskian
Hello everybody.
Plesk Panel is a good hosting control panel but it lacks in simplicity of information. I would suggest that a file be created that details each and every port that must be kept open behind firewalls to allow all of the Plesk Panel scripts to connect to the Internet locations they require to connect to.

Every portion or service of the Plesk Panel requires access to the Internet using different ports. The licensing port 5224, admin login port 8443/8440, the migration script 22 and many more... By having a file detailing these ports, it would make life easier for everyone.

This file should be placed in the documentation menu item of the main website as a separate item and not included in other items as it is easier to have it seen quickly then having to search for something.

I recently found out that port 22 is required for migration but other ports are also required.
