New Pleskian
Hi,
we have backup with this warning:
"Unable to back up files from /var/www/vhosts/example.com owned by system user. Error: Failed to create archive"
We not find solution in old posts or in web, solution is finded only for windows. You can help us?

Thanks

P.S.
Server is CentOS Linux 7.9.
Plesk Obsidian 18.0.56

Please run
grep -ri dump /etc/psa/psa.conf
and make sure that the folders mentioned in the constant definitions exist in the backup path and are writeable by psaadm owner and group.

Example:
Code:
# grep -ri dump /etc/psa/psa.conf
DUMP_D /backup
DUMP_TMP_D /tmp

Code:
# /var/lib/psa/dumps]> ls -la
total 12
drwxr-x--- 3 psaadm psaadm 4096 Dec 21 08:39 .
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Dec 21 08:39 ..
drwxr-x--- 2 777 root 4096 Apr 1 2020 tmp

The "backup" folder is missing. In that case, create it:
Code:
# mkdir /var/lib/psa/dumps/backup
# chown psaadm:psaadm /backup
# chmod 755 /backup

Permission is ok and directory exist, but have the same error:
"Unable to back up files from /var/www/vhosts/example.com owned by system user. Error: Failed to create archive"
