    Question Obsidian Dark mode

I was aware of that but thanks for the suggestion. Will put some thoughts about it. I am concerned about doing my own theme because i see some people complain every time Obsidian is updated. Apparently all their work is wiped out with minor upgrades. In the way that Obsidian staff still cannot...

    Question Obsidian Dark mode

Is there Obsidian dark mode or at least some consideration about it? Note that this is not feature request - just simple discusion. My server provider (Hetzner) few days ago shifted to Dark mode and it's being great. Especially in long night sessions. I am finding it logical that most of us are...

    Question Regenerate thumbnails

Actually that was funny if it was under spirit of a friendly joke :)

    CentOS 8 support

Update: Before i continue i want to clarify that i am speaking about CentOS 8 and Obsidian. By reading log files for now i am pretty sure Web Firewall is doing problems on wordpress installations. It is triggering false positives and making some plugins unusable so whole websites can be broken...

    CentOS 8 support

I had some weird firewall problems on CentOS 8 and Obsidian (like users being banned for no reason - wrong detection). I didn't had time to investigate further but something was definitely off. I will post here once when i find time.

    Question Old Health Monitor

You can define alarm tresholds by yourself if that' what's bothering you.

    Question Old Health Monitor

I haven't tried it on mobile (i literally have big hands and i can't work on mobiles with anything, just calls). You are right, perhaps they should be able to improve it or to make old module optional for users.

    Question Old Health Monitor

In what way useless? I really think you should ask them for support directly.

    Question Old Health Monitor

Wow. In that case i can understand your frustration. But something is wrong then because it shouldn't function like that. It's not heavy it's working fine. There are many improvements over older monitor. In all our servers which were upgraded from Onyx to Obsidian or where we installed "clean"...

    Question Old Health Monitor

I believe you can configure or disable email alerts if that's one part of what you don't like. Personally i am finding new Advanced monitor big improvement. But that's just me of course.

Issue Install error on Centos 8.1

Do you believe that they have different build in different locations? I doubt that but that could explain your experience. However it would be cool from Plesk to put some light to this. It's still unclear was it your server configuration that led to install error or it was Plesk having different...

Issue Install error on Centos 8.1

Weird. Three days ago I used Hetzner Cloud server. Installed CentOS 8.0 then i updated it to 8.1 manually. After that i tried to install Plesk Obsidian trial just for the sake of testing it. And everything went smoothly. No errors like yours. Everything works fine for a few days. I tried some...

    CentOS 8 support

Thanks. Fingers crossed that we won't have to wait so long. Anyone tried Fail2Ban on CentOs 8 + Obsidian ?

    CentOS 8 support

Haven't tried it yet myself. I understand Docker limitation (though they did released new changelog yesterday Change Log for Plesk Obsidian) I am not clear (so asking here) does fail2ban work on CentOS 8 with Plesk or not? Has anyone tried it? Also does anyone know on what basis Atomic release...

    CentOS 8 support

Allow me to propose more friendly atmosphere here(this thread). We were all frustrated by this whole CentOS8 situation here i hope both sides learned something but as you can see CentOS8 support is imminent. Love :p

Question best practices to be web ddos protected from Plesk

No it's not clear to me which is exactly why i asked. I know the reason why someone could store IP in database but it isn't because of preventing sucessfull DDos. Do you really think advanced script kiddies are using same IP for their abuse? And OP asked about that not about captcha protection...

Question best practices to be web ddos protected from Plesk

I would look at some sort of throttling solution with advanced filter - not blocking or adding IP to some database and keeping it flagged.

Question best practices to be web ddos protected from Plesk

I don't understand your practice unless you have some mechanism which i fail to understand. Please explain of what use is 159 million entries? I em genuinely interested. I don't see any use even for 100 entries. That's very unusual practice unless i completely misunderstood you (which can be...
