    How to set up Magento 2.1.0 on Plesk with Nginx-only hosting option enabled Magento 2 was developed with Varnish in mind. You will want to use Varnish for the Magento 2 FPC.

    Sounds like you need to disable mail service on test2.com # plesk bin subscription -u test2.com -mail_service false If you don't fully disable it, DNS lookup is going to stay local and try delivering local.

    Plesk isn't necessarily the root cause here. Plesk sees the .maintenance file, and that is why the toggle is shown. The file can be left behind from a failed Wordpress update.

    Are you talking about one-click installs of Plesk or one-click installs for third party applications? AWS has a library where you can easily deploy a Plesk instance, and Plesk offers an application library that will allow you to deploy common applications such as Wordpress.

    That was probably the safe route to take in the grand scheme of things. Assuming you did get it all working, I'd worry about the reliability of the backups

    Did you gain 2x times page load speed at the cost of 3x times higher cpu loads? That's about usual based on some early testing I did. I haven't touched mod_pagespeed in a LONG time.

    Disable the backups going to FTP totally in that case. You can mount the remote storage as local storage, and have Plesk do what it thinks is local backups but actually remote.
