    mysql resources used by domain

Ah. That's the total size of everything listed above. Now, in my case, I felt that this number seemed larger than the total of all the individual directories. I don't know if this was really the case or not, and can't imagine why it would be bigger.

    mysql resources used by domain

A very basic option would be: #cd /var/lib/MySQL #du -h --max-depth=1 This will show the size of all databases directories. However, if your database names can't easily be matched to a Subscription, you might need to find a better way.

    Spam in Mail Queue

yes, you can authenticate on an alias. I was surprised when I found this out a year or two ago! But it does make sense. If you use qmail, then qmhandle.pl (available from the Atomic repo or you can compile from source) is a good tool to deal with queues full of spam. It sounds like you have...

concurrent visitors max cpu multiple php-cgi

First, why are you using php-cgi? The recommended option would be php-fastcgi. Secondly, check your access logs and error logs. If you see a lot of attempts to access the WP login page then what's happening is that you are effectively under a brute-force attack which can suck your resources...

    Plesk 12.5 preview feedback thread

Sitebuilder (WPB) I noticed that the test key does not allow WPB to be used. Is there any way to get a test key that enables this?

    SpamAssassin 3.4 Upgrading

Yeah, it is interesting. All the repos I use are on 3.3.x -- none have gone to 3.4. I have started to think that maybe there's some sort of problem with 3.4 that has put people off upgrading or something.

    SOA-record set to secondary DNS

It is a bit more complicated than that! namservers in the template are not necessarily local. Maybe it would be better to add an option to tick a box to say "this is my primary ns record" (which then goes in the SOA) or something like that?

How to upgrade apache version to 2.4.X in centos 6 with Plesk panel 12

Plesk is mostly only concerned with the configuration, restarting etc, so mods to psa.conf may well work.

How to upgrade apache version to 2.4.X in centos 6 with Plesk panel 12

I don't think Plesk will detect a non-standard location. You can try symlinking but it may not work. The best way to experiment is with a VPS of some type, so that you can create multiple backups/snapshots to which you can restore quickly if something doesn't work.

How to upgrade apache version to 2.4.X in centos 6 with Plesk panel 12

Err...are you sure you want to do this? The best practice in my book would be not to do so at all. If you need Apache 2.4 then consider Centos 7. I'm not sure what to suggest if you need 2.6 which I didn't think existed yet ;-) [yes, I know, 2.6 was a typo - I'm just pulling your leg]. While...

    system paths???

It is likely to be /var/www/vhosts/[domain name]/httpdocs/pongo/core/ and you should be able to confirm this by logging in to the new server and checking that this is the location of the website files. The database will be hosted locally, on your server. So typically in your configuration file...

    Plesk 12.5 preview feedback thread

12.1.20 -- even more improvement! The devs have been very hard at work! However: In the new PHP settings boxes, when you click in a box to make a change, in IE11 at least, the cursor jumps to the far left, no matter where you originally clicked. e.g. if the setting is, say: [128M], if you...

    cronjob (every minute)

How was it configured? Using "*" in the minute field (i.e every minute) is the normal way.

    Plesk 12.5 preview feedback thread

OK. That's great. Thanks. I have it in a Container now. Some of the (forgive me) very annoying UI issues remain, and there are some seriously confusing things going on with regards to PHP-FPM. I'm not sure if they are expected or whether I've encountered a bug. It is impossible to explain the...

    Upgrading CentOS (minor upgrades)

I can't comment on CloudLinux - I've never used it I'm afraid. Regarding whether to update or upgrade, a few of us were discussing this not so long ago. It is darned confusing isn't it? The upshot of that discussion was that in the opinion of those who know a million times more than me, you...

How to rsync backup a Plesk VPS to Amazon S3?

As long as you don't mind the tiny monthly charge, I've found Jungledisk to be rather good. The key thing is that it does de-duplication and in a really smart way. For example, if you backup a complete server backup in the form of a .gz.tar file one week, then do it again the next week, great...

    Upgrading CentOS (minor upgrades)

To amplify Igor's post: Forgive me if I'm telling you stuff you already know. I just want to cover all the bases. RedHat, and downstream distributions based on it (e.g. Centos), are designed to be used in situations where you want to keep up to date in terms of security and bugfixes, but where...

Need your feedback about Log Browser in Plesk

Maybe making it a selectable option in the Service Plan definition would enhance this feature and resolve trialotto's reservations.

The demo only seems to speak French at the moment. I can't seem to change to any other language - as far as I can make out, it is telling me politely in French that this isn't possible in the demo version :-)

Migration between plesk 12 servers, error with dns configuration

Ah, not I had not expected mail to stop working. And you are right of course - it shouldn't happen. I would love to know if it was due to the domain being disabled. My thinking is that, at one time, migrating a disabled domain did not migrate, for example, database users. This was a bug fixed...
