    Question Custom spamassassin rules

Hmm, that's interesting. I did a little digging around your find and came across this thread: spamassassin - and my own rules Moving the custom rules in to a new file within /etc/mail/spamassassin (rather than editing that local.cf), adding a purposeful error and then doing a --lint, I now see...

    Question Custom spamassassin rules

Hi Danami, We run /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/spammng --restart after every edit, and there's been occasional full server restarts too.

    Question Custom spamassassin rules

We've created /usr/share/spamassassin/99_custrules.cf and added a bunch of custom rules. As far as I can tell from the documentation the rules within this file are valid, and spamassassin --lint throws no issues, but even after a /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/spammng --restart it doesn't look like...

    Question Email blacklists

OK thanks, that all makes sense.

    Question Email blacklists

Thanks, this is all massively appreciated. Now that I've had chance to look over all of the above, am I right in thinking that: - your scripts basically convert a file of domains in to their corrosponding IP's to then be added to a DNSBL as per your original replies. So for example google.com...

    Question Email blacklists

Thanks. I'm not dismissing your answer, I'm just not quite sure that I understand it. If I amend the Postfix config as per your answer, and set up the DNS records as per your earlier answer, then a) would we need to replace all of the blocks currently set up in Plesk -> Tools & Settings -> Mail...

    Question Email blacklists

Perhaps DNSBL is the wrong terminology for this, actually. I presumed the black list within Plesk worked as one already and that I just needed a way of pointing other Plesk servers to it as a public service, but thinking about it further, this may not make as much sense as I originally thought...

    Question Email blacklists

Thanks, but I'm not sure I follow exactly... In Plesk -> Tools & Settings -> Mail Server Settings -> Black List, we're currently blocking 1987 domains (in addition to SPF filtering and using other DNSBL services). We block new domains daily and on every Plesk server we look after, we're adding...

    Question Email blacklists

In Plesk's server-wide mail settings there's a blacklist we can populate, in addition to listing other DNSBL services within the settings tab. I'm just wondering, is it possible to just populate one single Plesk server's blacklist and then point other Plesk servers to this one as a DNSBL? I...

    Question Updating to 12.5

Thanks for the links. This answers my versioning concerns. I'm still not sure however, if I need to remove the Atomic repo first? Also I see that 12.5 comes with Fail2ban now, which is something we installed manually on these servers. Again, would this conflict with what Plesk tries to bring in?

    Question Updating to 12.5

We're currently running Plesk 11.5.30 Update #55 on CentOS 6.8, and some time ago we upgraded MySQL via, I think, this process: wget -q -O - http://www.atomicorp.com/installers/atomic | sh yum upgrade mysql I believe this also caused PHP to upgrade. We're currently running PHP 5.4.45 and MySQL...

    Updates and Upgrades not loading

Turned out port 8447 needed opening on the server - all is good now. Credit to Plesk's support line for resolving this one.

    Updates and Upgrades not loading

Hi, I'm trying move a website over to one of our servers but it requires MySQL 5.5 and it looks like we're still runngin 5.1. As far as I can tell, we just need to switch the MySQL version in Tools & Settings -> Updates and Upgrades over, but this page is refusing to load for me. Chrome gives...

Plesk keeps forgetting it's timezone settings

Hi, I'm running Plesk 11.5 on CentOS and for a while now, every time Plesk updates or the server is rebooted, it totally forgets that I've set it (via Tools & Settings -> System Date and Time) to be GMT+1, Europe/London. This is causing all sorts of problems with all sorts of websites as...

    Import Plesk SSL into Chrome

Thanks Lloyd, I had to recompile nss as utils was disabled in the previous compile, but after that the command above ran successfully. I don't see my certificate in Chrome though and it's still showing as an insecure page + not offering to save the password. Additionally, if I try to list the...

    Import Plesk SSL into Chrome

I was using the "Your certificates" tab actually. I've now tried from the server tab and the import doesn't give any error, but also doesn't add anything to the list (whether I use the full download or just the certificate part). The default certificate doesn't include a CA part so I can't try...

    Import Plesk SSL into Chrome

Hi Lloyd, Thanks. I'm using GNU/Linux and the KDE desktop but I tried what you suggested - copying just the certificate part to a new .crt file and installing this into my systems trusted certificates (using Kleopatra though, since this is KDE), but Chrome doesn't seem to pick this up. I also...

    Import Plesk SSL into Chrome

Hi, Chrome/Chromium don't offer to "remember this password" if using https with a self signed, or no, certificate, which is pretty frustrating when your job requires regular logins to various Plesk installations! The trick, apparently, is to import your self signed certificates into Chrome's...

FTPS in ProFTPd running in inetd mode

Hi, One of our CentOS servers is running ProFTPd, brought in with Plesk, but the default configuration allows unencrypted connections which is against the PCI-DSS compliance regulations so I need to change it. Following the documentation I came up with this /etc/proftpd.conf file...
