    Resolved /xovi.sqlite3 large file

Hi Viktor, understood, thanks; that's why it takes long to load the list (especially the log file analyzer sections). For the moment I am just trying the free version; I have about 25-30 active domains, but most of them are for PMEs and have low traffic. This is what they typically say...

    Resolved /xovi.sqlite3 large file

Hello, I discovered I have a 1.5GB xovi.sqlite file on my VPS. Why is that and do I need it? Running Plesk Onyx 17.8.11 Update #28 on CentOs 7.5. Running only WordPress websites. Thank you in advance for your kind explanations. Best regards Franco

Issue I can restore files but not the database

Just to clarify that SQL server is on the same machine, local to the IIS server. Besides, my attempts have been made with the App Pool stopped: is this the safest way or something else is recommended?

Issue I can restore files but not the database

Hello, on the latest Onyx for Windows 17.8.11 on MS Server 2016 and SQL Server 17 I cannot restore the database when making a full restore of a subscription. Only the files are restored. The subscription contains a DNN website. Not sure if that's related but I get the following warning...

    Resolved Dovecot warnings

Hello, on Plesk 17.8#8 I have noticed a couple of warnings of the kind (not sure when they started to appear: master: Dovecot v2.3.0.1 (ffd8a29) starting up for imap, pop3, sieve (core dumps disabled) doveconf: Warning: NOTE: You can get a new clean config file with: doveconf -n >...

    Question Plesk installation backup

Hi Mark, it's not because it's called Plesk that it won't ever fail. I am old enough to have watched and lived several disasters in IT, and coming from unexpected angles (otherwise they could be prevented). If it happens and there seem to be no way around it the thing to do is a restore...

Resolved Scheduled backups have no option for g-drive

Hello, after upgrading to Plesk 17.8.11 MU#5 I configured the g-drive extension and all look fine for manual backups. However, on the same subscription that work manually, scheduled backups do not have the possibility to use it. Is it a problem of my instance or is it normal instead? On a VPS...

    Question Plesk installation backup

Thank you all for the hint and that's what I did. However, I find it weird that one has to and restore and entire server in case a Plesk update goes bad. Why not a dedicated backup procedure like one does for subscriptions? Is there something I don't understand?

    Question Plesk installation backup

Hi, anyone on this one, please?

    Question Plesk installation backup

Hello, in view of upgrading to Plesk to 17.8 I would like to backup the Plesk installation (but not the entire server) for a potential rollback. What's the way to proceed? I have seen a lot of information on how to backup subscriptions and the entire server, but could not find any mention about...

    Resolved nginx.conf location

Hello, I am using nginx with php-fpm and I have inserted some additional directives in the corresponding field of the subscription domain configuration. They seem to work but I don't find them in the /var/www/vhosts/system/<domain>/conf/nginx.conf file. How come? Is there a different file which...

    .wp-cli/cache files

Uhm, it does not seem to work, though. This morning another set of zip files were added :( Here's what I have in the panel.ini: Section Setting Value [wpToolkit] features.cacheDataByVersion false ( default value: true ) [wpToolkit] features.cacheDataByVersionExpireTime 2592000 [wpToolkit]...

    .wp-cli/cache files

Hi, Thanks. Not sure whats thé expiration time as those files look quite old indeed (the value is 2592000). Anyway, I disabled it as per your indication. Regards

    .wp-cli/cache files

Hello, under each of my subscriptions I can find plenty of .zip files (older WP versions and plugins) under /.wp-cli/cache/. What are they and can they be removed safely? And if so, how to avoid those adding up over time? I could not find any information online, thus I am asking here if...

    Resolved php-fpm memory leak?

Well, I have a number of cases like those. It mostly depends on theme or plugin incompatibility. I wish I could run all my sites on the latest php version, but it is unlikely. Usually (but not always) you get an indication of where it bangs in the subscription log. However, as php is interpreted...

    Resolved php7.2 php-fpm.sock file error

I guess this was due to the memory issue resolved here Resolved - php-fpm memory leak? and it did not have anything to do with php 7.2 per se. I close it then.

    Resolved php-fpm memory leak?

Bingo! Thanks a lot, setting it on demand solved my huge problem and I am an happy man again :) Which means that php7.2 is not the culprit, but choosing it APPLIED the php-fpm default settings that screw up my system. What a story...
