Question Plesk updates - Broken pipe error message

Hello, I am running the latest Plesk 12.5 on the latest CentOs 6.8. Usually Plesk updates run fine, but every time I have the following messages a couple of times in the update log: /usr/local/psa/bootstrapper/pp12.5.30-bootstrapper/bootstrapper.sh: line 345: $config.new: ambiguous redirect...

Make sense, thanks. I may go for a new VM indeed, as soon as I have a chance to plan for it. Regards

    HTTP/2 support released

Very interesting, I am impressed. Well, I have memcached running, would that help? Also, shall I upgrade to apache 2.4? Plesk does not have it and I 'd have to do it manually. Hard to do? What do you suggest? I read somewhere that it would be better to be on CentOs 7 for that (I am on 6, final)...

    HTTP/2 support released

Hi Trialotto, that's a very good explanation, I almost understood everythig :) Just on your statement about the nature of client implementations that won't support TLS. Perhaps you means older versions (still used by majority of users)? All latest versions of FF, Chrome and even Edge support it...

    HTTP/2 support released

Yes, http/2 it seems to work on my apache 2.2 (at least that's what my browser says), is that normal? I am using nginx with apache and let's encrypt certificate on a test WP website and the browser shows the blue lightning.

    HTTP/2 support released

Apparently it works for me on apache 2.2.15 (CentOs), is it normal? ;)

    502 bad gateway - nginx

In this case I'd reboot to trigger the problem, instead of waiting for the issue to appear randomly. Please note that, as mentioned earlier, I'm not running FPM, the procedure you pointed at was useful to get all MU applied, but I could not complete it because I have no FPM process to restart...

    502 bad gateway - nginx

@trialotto, thank you for your availability; I will wait for the next occurrence or I will reboot and, if problem confirmed even after all those updates, I will contact you. Best, F.

    502 bad gateway - nginx

@PriyanA thank you for the suggestion; my symptoms are not the same, no issue when I modify a plan setting, but I run the suggested procedure, just in case. @trialotto thank you for your help: I run the autoinstaller successfully and I suppose all my MU are ok now (although I was already on the...

    502 bad gateway - nginx

Hello, my config is Plesk 12.5, apache 2.2 with nginx (no fpm-php), php 7.0.4 on all wordpress sites. The system is quite stable and secured with fail2ban, mod_security etc., I rarely see attacks and other bugs these days (touch wood). The only thing is this ancient problem I carry from the...

Resolved php7 and memcached - again

Well, as after all that I could not run yum at all (as it happens we get php 7.0.4 and it was failing on the same error code) I run yum clean all and after that I could continue the installationn and follow all your instructions without a glitch, and finally I get my memcache extension...

Thanks, Igor, I really appreciate your help. However, I am getting this error on the yum install libmemcached....: Loaded plugins: fastestmirror Setting up Install Process Examining libmemcached-devel-1.0.16-2.gf.el6.i686.rpm: libmemcached-devel-1.0.16-2.gf.el6.i686...

Resolved php7 and memcached - again

Well, I think I know that. There's a deamon and then libraries needed by php to interface with it. The error you point at is due to a failed installation of the library, I guess, as described here: https://devblog.plesk.com/2015/08/adding-custom-php-modules-in-plesk/ My memcached deamon is...

Resolved php7 and memcached - again

Hello, I have been struggling for a while to install memcache extenstion to php and I'd like some guidance, please. Memcached runs, but the extension on php 7 is uncomplete. For instance, I can't complete the installation as I get an error ("No valid packages found") when running the final step...
