The goal is that it should not cause problems, so I'm going to point out the issues I encountered so they can hopefully be addressed in future updates where possible.

Issue Migration feedback - a bunch of comments

On 2nd thought, I guess if the values are different you would have no way of knowing if it was changed on the source or the destination.

Issue Migration feedback - a bunch of comments

The migrator can check any values in the target, if they are different than the source AND the difference is not from the migrator itself (from the automatic changes it makes while migrating e.g. changes to the primary ip address). Since the migrator knows what changes it makes when initially...

Issue Migration feedback - a bunch of comments

Had another bug yesterday. After a site was migrated, I made DNS changes on the source server. When I was ready to transfer that site to the new server, I resynced content and databases, and then switched DNS, I then discovered that my recent DNS changes on the source server were not resynced...

Thank you BUT In the php.ini file there is a notice that changes to this file will be overwritten by plesk updates I went ahead and put the date.timezone setting in .user.ini as described (file did not exist, created a new file) and restarted plesk management service and it is correct now...

    Resolved timestamps in file manager

The time stamp on a file in file manager shows the last modified time in GMT instead of local time. It shows correctly on another server with the same version of plesk, but I can't find any setting to control it. The server time and timezone are correct in plesk and in windows and the...

Issue Migration feedback - a bunch of comments

In the list of subscriptions, there's a dropdown menu to the right of each subscription, but nothing happens when I click on it. I don't know if it's an empty menu and the icon shouldn't be there, or there is actually a menu but it doesn't dropdown for some reason.

Issue Virtual directory in sub folder

Hi When clicking on virtual directories, plesk starts at the top level (website root) and there is a button at the top to create a new virtual directory. If I click on an existing folder to enter that folder, there is no longer a button to create a virtual directory, it seems plesk only allows...

Issue Migration feedback - a bunch of comments

When doing Re-Sync on a subscription, there is a dialog where you can choose what to resync. You can choose Business objects Website files Database data Email messages If I choose only website files (and left 'database data' unchecked) the migrator will ignore that selection and also migrate...

Issue Migration feedback - a bunch of comments

About the issue with domain alias email: It has occurred to me, the likely issue is that I have disabled the mail service on most domains, when you disable the mail service, plesk changes the domain in the mail server to domain.com.d (adding a .d to the domain name). When attempting to add the...

Issue Is this a bug? psadm_users DENY permissions coming back?

Resolved Protected directory error: This server variable cannot be modified during request execution.

    Update The following web.config resolves the issue. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <configuration> <system.webServer> <modules> <remove name="Helicon.Ape" /> </modules> </system.webServer> </configuration> Note that this setting can only be set at the...

Resolved Protected directory error: This server variable cannot be modified during request execution.

I discovered that switching to classic mode works because helicon ape doesn't work on classic mode. Any other suggestions? This worked until the update, so it's something that changed with the obsidian update.

Resolved Protected directory error: This server variable cannot be modified during request execution.

    I tried adding this to the directory and the problem remains. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <configuration> <system.webServer> <handlers> <remove name="Helicon.Ape Handler" /> </handlers> </system.webServer> </configuration>

Resolved Protected directory error: This server variable cannot be modified during request execution.

Thank you, I understand that, I will reach out to them, but in the meantime do you know if it is possible to remove their handler from just the protected directory?

Resolved Protected directory error: This server variable cannot be modified during request execution.

Thank you Yes I do have Helicon Ape installed. I use it, removing it is not an option. Unless there is a way to remove it from the password protected directory while leaving it active on the rest of the site.
