    I had the same error message after switching from Zendserver back to the default PHP packages. Turned out that some packages were still missing, namely php-pear and php5-dev (on a Debian server).

    I cannot help with the main problem, but for the timezone: Plesk uses a separate php.ini in "/opt/psa/admin/conf/php.ini". If you add the timezone setting there, you should at least get rid of that warning. hth, Lars

    Problems after Upgrading to Squeeze

    I had the problem "not found source for system packages" with the update from Etch to Lenny. The cause seems to be that the Plesk installer replaces the entries in sources.list with the old ones. Fortunately, it does this just once, so you should be able to update sources.list that it containts...
