Upgrading Plesk 9 to 10 and Debian Lenny to Squeeze

Hi, I want to upgrade Plesk 9 to 10 and after that Debian Lenny to Squeeze. Now, before I run with open eyes into my doom, I thought I would ask you if there is anything that needs to be done/checked before. The year before I already updated Debian Etch to Lenny so I´ve got some knowledge...

Command line options to be added for Plesk 10

Yes, I did read the documentation, though this might have been at the time where only 10.2 had been out. Still, besides the notification utility, I couldn´t find anything to use for the other mentioned things. Could you please tell me which utilities are available for those? Lars

Multiple SSL domains for one site

I think this would be the best way, though I´m not an expert in this field. Lars

Command line options to be added for Plesk 10

Hi, it´s very handy that many aspects of Plesk can be configured by command line. This makes configuring a new server quite comfortable as it´s way better than to click through all options. As we get new servers every now and then, it´s a real time saver. But to perfect this, the...

How do I encrypt account passwords?

I would also think that when you specify "-passwd_type encrypted" the password would get encrypted automatically, but this is not the case. Couldn´t get it to work either. Also, Plesk 10 is not compatible with encrypted passwords: http://kb.parallels.com/en/112508 @Parallels: Please fix...

Problem with SPF and DNS resolution

Sorry to bump this old thread, but I guess this bug is the cause for the problems. Compare the output of dig for TXT and SPF: ~# dig TXT wilson-house.co.uk (snip) ;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: NOERROR, id: 44916 ~# dig SPF wilson-house.co.uk (snip) ;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode...

    Plesk 9.5.4 + Centos 5 64 bit + qmail-scanner 2.08-5 - SPF problem

Could this be the same problem as in this thread? I am examining the same problem and when I "dig" for the domain I get this error (digging TXT works, though): ~# dig SPF wilson-house.co.uk ; <<>> DiG 9.6-ESV-R4 <<>> SPF wilson-house.co.uk ;; global options: +cmd ;; Got answer: ...

    SPF explanation setting not used?

I got an answer from Parallels via our hosting provider: "Currently, our development team is looking for a way to fix this problem with SPF by patching the libraries. However, at this point we have no ETA on availability of fix for these issues."

    SPF explanation setting not used?

Hi, I am currently testing SPF with my Plesk 9.5.4 server (debian, qmail) and set "SPF explanation text" to "Please see http://www.openspf.org/Why?s=helo;id=%{S};ip=%{C};r=%{R}" as described on openspf.org. I have setup a domain with "v=spf1 -all" so I can test what happens when a mail is...

    Debian 6 (Squeeze) stable

Will there also be the possibility to install 10.2 on an existing server with Debian 5 and after that upgrade Debian to 6.0?
