    Fail2Ban Wordpress jail issues

Hello, I have a custom jail set up to match the following: failregex = <HOST>.*] "POST /wp-login.php This does work however it seems that when it is running on a server with ~300 domains it struggles to ban IP's efficiently. Log path is set to: logpath =...

(Solved) DNS Zones not created on slave servers

Hi trialotto, I find managing DNS zones via the Plesk interface very important for both parties for ease of use. In my experience, registrar DNS zone management is buggy and the user interfaces are very poor and confusing for customers. Every domain purchased through us will not be given the...

    Plesk 12.5 backup functionality

Hmm instead of using an FTP repository, I might be better off mounting another drive at the backup directory.

    Plesk 12.5 backup functionality

I found this in the release notes as a resolved problem. "Backing up data to the FTP repository required a local backup to be created first. Backup failed if there was not sufficient disk space for the local backup." Does this mean it doesn't require a local backup first anymore?

    Plesk 12.5 backup functionality

Has the backup manager in 12.5 been improved so that it doesn't use 2x used disk space on the Plesk server when performing a full server backup to FTP repository? Currently in 12.0 it is really bad. For example if you are using 100GB, the backup process itself takes up another 100GB, making...

Full server migration to new server with same hostname?

Hello, I'm wondering whether it is possible to perform a full server migration to a new Plesk server with the same hostname or will Plesk give an error about the hostname being the same? The new server would not be accessible by hostname (only via IP) until DNS and glue records were changed...

(Solved) DNS Zones not created on slave servers

@Taz-Matt Yeah exactly. It deletes the configuration out of /var/named/3bf305731dd26307.nzf for that particular domain but doesn't remove actual zone file itself. Whilst it doesn't really cause a problem, it would be cleaner to remove the zone file itself when the slave server receives the...

(Solved) DNS Zones not created on slave servers

No worries at all :) I ran into the same problem myself. I started using the slave DNS manager a few months back. One problem I've found is that zones don't get deleted when you delete a domain from Plesk. The extension should get updated to support this.

Unable to find additional PHP versions

Oh ok, there don't appear to be any plans. That's unfortunate, I'd prefer to use the built-in PHP versions, much easier to maintain.

Unable to find additional PHP versions

I have just installed a new Cloudlinux 6.6 Plesk 12 box but am unable to find the additional PHP versions as shown in the attached image. I'm on update #55. I'd prefer to use Plesk's built-in PHP versions instead of the Cloudlinux ones. Could someone assist please?

    Plesk firewall not working correctly
