Server crashed after yum / CloudLinux 7.2 update

Not sure if this is related or not: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1536722 They are running OpenVZ but I'm running KVM.

    Creating mail for a sub-domain

Hello, I recently found out that it is not possible to create email accounts in a "sub-domain" in Plesk and to do so the sub-domain has to be set up as a separate domain/subscription. I've got two questions: 1.) When will this be fixed so that email accounts can be created under...

Server crashed after yum / CloudLinux 7.2 update

Did anyone have any problems after the update to CentOS 7.2 or CloudLinux 7.2? This morning my entire server crashed, it wasn't even responding to ICMP. A full restart of the server was required to get it back up and running.

    Service plan changes

@dash Ahhh I think I understand. So you if you provide the "Hosting Management" permission in service plans, and if the client then alters any settings within the "Hosting Settings" page then it wont be considered to be "altered" and locked/not synced with the service plan. This then means...

    Service plan changes

Oh ok, that's quite unfortunate. I think it's a little strange, Plesk should consider adding this feature. It makes keeping up to date with default php versions difficult. For example, lets say you have PHP 5.6 as the latest version on your server. Then PHP 7 comes out and becomes stable...

    CPU usage readings

Ahhh I see. So at the moment in my Plesk mobile app it states 3% on a 1min average. Does this just mean a load average of 3 or 0.03? After doing some reading, it seems that the above could mean that in the past minute, 3% of one core was utilized?

    Service plan changes

Hello, I'd like to change the default PHP version in my service plans without affecting subscriptions already assigned to these service plans. How can I do this? It only allows me to apply and sync the changes to all attached subscriptions.

    CloudFlare extension issues after migration

Hi @IgorG Nah I haven't, I just wanted to see if anyone else had a fix for this issue as it would occur for anyone that migrated domains from one server to another.

    CloudFlare extension issues after migration

Hi @IgorG Thank you for the reply. I grep'd for "cloudflare" as I had a lot of results due to running "CloudLinux": Aug 03 18:14:13 Installed: cloudflare-servershield-1.3-1.centos7.14080716.x86_64 Aug 03 18:20:21 Installed: mod_cloudflare-1.2.0-5826ca8968.14080716.x86_64 Aug 27 06:41:00...

Services crashes every sunday at 5:48am

Hi @AFRC Yeah Apache stopped crashing on me after changing the "reload" command to "restart" in the following files: /etc/logrotate.d/httpd /etc/logrotate.d/mod_security I'd recommend giving it a try.

CageFS, CloudLinux PHP selector and Plesk 12.5 PHP selector

The only PHP version available to the CL selector is the native php 5.4. ..but I have hidden the selector tool as it is not required. However I have 5.4, 5.5, 5.6 & 7 available to clients via the Plesk PHP settings. To allow CageFS users access to the php session folder, see the below...

CageFS, CloudLinux PHP selector and Plesk 12.5 PHP selector

Oh ok that's strange. I can certainly select Plesk PHP versions with CageFS active. Are you using CloudLinux 7.1? I remember having to add the PHP session directory to the accessible directory list under CageFS though.

CageFS, CloudLinux PHP selector and Plesk 12.5 PHP selector

I would imagine yum wouldn't update or install the CloudLinux alt php's if they weren't already installed though. Edit: But to answer your question directly, yep you can exclude packages from specific repositories. See the following page for further information...

CageFS, CloudLinux PHP selector and Plesk 12.5 PHP selector

Yep same here :) You can just not install the alt php's but if they are already installed then run the following: yum groupremove alt-php Hide the PHP selector menu item from the custom buttons section and then just install your required PHP versions via the Plesk installer.

    CloudFlare extension issues after migration

I am a little curious as to how others have handled this situation. I had a client on server A, they needed to be migrated to server B. On server A they signed up to CloudFlare via the extension in Plesk. Now when they try to sign in on server B they get the following error: Error CloudFlare...

    CPU usage readings

I use a few different tools to monitor aspects of my servers however I'm just wondering how the Android Plesk app records CPU load average statistics? The reason why I ask is because the Plesk health monitor and my Cacti graphs indicate that my average CPU usage is approximately just under 5%...

ModSecurity Fails on Plesk 12.0.18 Update #71

Thank you @AntonM@Parallels The update worked and Apache did not crash. I have now re-enabled daily rule set updates. Fingers crossed that it doesn't crash Apache again.

CageFS, CloudLinux PHP selector and Plesk 12.5 PHP selector

I prefer the Plesk PHP versions. To do this just don't install the alt-php's via CloudLinux. Make the CloudLinux PHP selector hidden via "Tools & Settings" > "Custom Buttons", then just install Plesk PHP versions :)
