Plesk by default does not use /home and also does not set up partitions, that is on OS side when you install it. You can for example change the location for the sites data, mail, etc. manually...

Yes it is expected as you chroot is given to the system user of the subscription so in short all files under that subscription. If you want the access separated you would need to add the subdomains as a new subscription.

Can you open the URL manually? Is both the IPv4 (A record) and IPv6 (AAAA record) reachable? Both in and out traffic.
