    SOA-record set to secondary DNS

I'm having the same issue. Have been for years. I see no mention of PPM-2226 in the release notes yet.

NS records created in wrong order

Hi, For years, I've had the issue with Plesk that it keeps reversing NS records, resulting in a wrong SOA record and in the NS2 not being notified of updates. There is this, but it's not a permanent fix. I don't know what keeps happening, but when people change DNS records, often times the NS...

Upgrade 10.4.4 to 12: Postfix queue file write error

I attempted the upgrade again. At first it worked, mail delivery and all. I don't know why, though. I changed a little bit of master.cf stuff, but I think I tried that last month too. But when I installed some pending updates with aptitude, /usr/bin/deliverquota was gone and delivery failed. I...

Upgrade 10.4.4 to 12: Postfix queue file write error

What exactly does that switch between qmail and postfix replace? I already compared my master.cf to a file supplied by parallels and it was OK. It seems to be more related to /usr/lib/plesk-9.0/postfix-local and files it calls. For instance, does /usr/lib/plesk-9.0/postfix-local not exist when...

Upgrade 10.4.4 to 12: Postfix queue file write error

(I keep missing replies, sorry...) I don't quite understand. You say running the command line installer from the command line is not recommended, but aren't they all command line? When I installed Plesk, it put stuff in /root/parallels. I also still have a...

Upgrade 10.4.4 to 12: Postfix queue file write error

The admin web panel only allows me to choose version 12 when upgrading. I guess I have to find an installer for version 11?

Upgrade 10.4.4 to 12: Postfix queue file write error

I reverted the whole virtual machine because I couldn't get it to work. In my old Plesk 10.4.4 I confirmed that running the above command indeed just puts the message in that maildir. Even when you do 'echo "sdf"' and pipe it through postfix-local. For some reason, that silently fails on my...

Upgrade 10.4.4 to 12: Postfix queue file write error

Just for my info. When you do: cat earlier-saved-message | /usr/lib/plesk-9.0/postfix-local -f "[email protected]" -d "[email protected]" -p /var/qmail/mailnames Is it supposed to put that message in /var/qmail/mailnames/target.com/Maildir(/new)? It doesn't, and I don't understand why.

Upgrade 10.4.4 to 12: Postfix queue file write error

A tech support person is already looking at it, in the server, although I haven't seen any activity for a while. They're having a hard time with it. Especially because the postfix-local script just doesn't seem to do anything, so bypassing the proxy-filters doesn't even work.

Upgrade 10.4.4 to 12: Postfix queue file write error

I just upgraded our Plesk 10.4.4 to 12.0.18 (on Ubuntu 10.04, about to be upgraded to 12.04). Now I get the dreaded 'queue file write error' in postfix on message delivery. It tries to open /usr/lib/plesk-9.0/postfix-queue (which is not there) in this block in master.cf: plesk_virtual unix -...

License key is not renewed yet

I know this is a late reply, but do you know of a fix? I have the same issue. It says: "License key is not renewed yet" and the mysql table key_history is empty. It has worked perfectlly for a year, maybe even longer. Edit: Plesk version: 10.4.4 Update #39 Ubuntu: Ubuntu 10.04.4...

Plesk with Postfix and uppercase mailboxes

Is there any news on this matter? We've recently had the same issue with Plesk Panel 10.2. By now we have 10.3. The rest of the system hasn't changed. We also replaced Qmail with Postfix. Product: Plesk Panel 10.3.1 (10.2 initially) OS: Ubuntu LTS 10.04.3 LTS Kernel: 2.6.32-30-server...

Changing the e-mail client setup instructions in the e-mail section of the user panel

Hi, Plesk product: Plesk Panel 10.3.1 on Ubuntu LTS 10.04. In the user control panel, the mail section, there is a button behind each address which gives a pop-up containing the information required to setup an external e-mail client. This contains username, servers, etc. For each user...

How do I force TLS/SSL for SMTP authenication?

I found out I could just run /opt/psa/admin/bin/autoinstaller and replace Qmail with Postfix. With postfix, I enabled smtpd_tls_auth_only and it's done.

How do I force TLS/SSL for SMTP authenication?

Hi, I'm finishing up the installation of our Plesk 10.2 Ubuntu 10.04 machine. One of the things I want to do, is disable all unencrypted authentication. I've succeeded for everything except SMTP (Qmail). Obviously, I can't close port 25 and force use of port 465, because then mail delivery...
