If you are still using CentOS 7.9, it's time to convert to Alma 8 with the free centos2alma tool by Plesk or Plesk Migrator. Please let us know your experiences or concerns in this thread: CentOS2Alma discussion
Hi,
My server is configured with CentOS 7.9.2009 with Plesk Obsidian 18.0.42, and I'm just wondering does my server have the minimum system requirements to upgrade from MariaDB 10.1.48-1.el7.centos to MariaDB 10.4.33-1.el7.centos?
I'm having issues upgrading to MariaDB 10.4.33 this is why I'm...
Hi,
My website is going through a DDoS attack and now I'm trying to set up my website to use Cloudflare. I set up my website already through Cloudflare but now I'm trying to block any direct access to my server/website IP address since the hackers can still do DDoS attack using my IP address...
Ok, I changed all "enabled=1" to "enabled=0" in that file but I still received an error; I notice the following still showing in the log file, could this be causing Plesk not to update?
http://yum.mariadb.org/10.1/centos7-amd64/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404 - Not Found
Thank you!
Hi,
I'm running into this same "Error: Unable to receive update information for the package(s)" issue when I try to install updates. I took a look at other posts with users having this same issue and those fixes didn't resolve my issue.
I'm under the following system:

Hi,
It seems like every time I upgrade Plesk my Roundcube webmail SMTP stops working and I get this error "SMTP Error (535): Authentication failed.". I then have to go into the "defaults.inc.php" file and change
$config['smtp_auth_type'] = 'PLAIN';
to show
$config['smtp_auth_type'] = ' '...
I went to the "/etc/sysconfig" directory and I see "iptables" listed, I then maybe tried to change permissions from 600 to 644 so it matches other ones in this list but I get a "Permission Denied" message, which is strange because I'm logged in as the "root" admin user.

Hi,
I have the following "iptables-services 1.4.21-34.el7 (base)" package that says I need to update in Plesk but each time I run the upgrade it continues to show under my "System Updates" page. I also notice the below message shows on top of this "System Updates" page.
Why isn't this...
I was able to fix this issue, this page helped me get on the right track. It seems like it was a WAF issue, and I had to add the ID 212880 to the "Switch off security rules" list in Plesk for WAF. I was able to find the ID of this ModSecurity within my /var/log/httpd/error_log file...
I did some more tests, and I notice the issue happens when I do "Forward inline" but when I do "Forward as attachment" it works properly; so I don't know why this doesn't work with "Forward inline" option?
Thank you!
Hi,
For certain emails, I can't seem to reply/forward to within my Roundcube webmail; there is no errors in the sendmail.log and the only thing I can see is when I go to send the email I noticed the following in "Chrome > Inspect > Console" browser.

Hi,
I know I can restart through SSH but just wondering why doesn't Plesk show MySQL/MariaDB service in the "Services Management" page on Plesk to make it easier to restart through web interface just like Web Server (Apache) is?
Thank you!
@IgorG I've tried this doesn't seem to work. I get the following response below and then when I try to set to "Comodo (free)" I get the same error.

My system administrator was able to fix this issue. I believe he had to take some email piping code out of the "master.cf" file that I manually had to put in there so postfix would work with the email ticket support software I use, and he removed it he ran mailsrv_conf_init and it finished...
