    /usr/local/psa missing

Hi Igor, Brialliant, thanks for the fix. Does this mean that if the system is restored to before the old update was applied, then now the auto-update should work?

10.4.4 autoupdate fails and deletes almost all psa files

Hi PettyP, Firstly - don't try to fix the admin, that only made things worse. If you've got the sites on your server still displaying then that seems to be the best you can hope for via the upgrade path. I've had no responses at all, its very disappointing from the Parallels support. I've...

    /usr/local/psa missing

Indeed, it does seem that something fairly fundamental went wrong. I've posted a full description of the problem in a separate thread: 261227.

PRODUCT, VERSION, MICROUPDATE, OPERATING SYSTEM, ARCHITECTURE Plesk 10.4.4, Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS 64-bit PROBLEM DESCRIPTION As far as I know I had the latest 10.4.4 Plesk version and then there was a minor auto-update at 6am BST on 15/07/2012 which was supposed to keep Plesk at 10.4.4 but I...

    SFTP on Plesk 10?

I just gave up with chrooting and just used normal /bin/bash access. As long as the users are trusted users and you make sure they have a long/strong password then SFTP will work. They still won't have root access.

    /usr/local/psa missing

This morning I hit an issue that the /usr/local/psa didn't exist any more. I first noticed it when I tried to update one of the apache config files and run: `$ /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/httpdmng --reconfigure-all` Eventually it turns out that an automatic update of Plesk failed this...

    Firewall problem for Incomming connections

I found that denying all for 'IPv6 Neighbor Discovery' also blocks FTP access so beware with disabling it.

    ftp issues

In Plesk 10 I found the issue to be that I'd denied all for 'IPv6 Neighbor Discovery'. Once I allowed connections on that then I could connect via FTP again. Also when I couldn't connect with FTP I could connect with SFTP which is much better to use anyway - so if you can switch over do that...

    FTP Failure

I found the issue to be that I'd denied all for 'IPv6 Neighbor Discovery'. Once I allowed connections on that then I could connect via FTP again. Also when I couldn't connect with FTP I could connect with SFTP which is much better to use anyway - so if you can switch over do that instead.

    chrootsh broken on 10.4 upgrades

Same problem Hi @Hostasaurus.Com, did you get any response to this? I have what appears to be the same problem. i.e. with the main FTP user account set to /bin/bash (chrooted) then SFTP gives an access denied error.

    SFTP on Plesk 10?

I'm using the latest Plesk 10.4.4 on Ubuntu. If anyone has any ideas that would be great. Here is the sftp debug ouput: $ sftp -v [email protected] Connecting to mydomain.com... OpenSSH_5.3p1 Debian-3ubuntu7, OpenSSL 0.9.8k 25 Mar 2009 debug1: Reading configuration data...

    SFTP on Plesk 10?

Has anyone found a solution to this? Someone in Parallels must know why chrooted bin/bash SFTP access works for Plesk 9 but not for Plesk 10.
