Resolved WP Toolkit vulnerability alert might be a false positive? [Unauthenticated Blind SSRF]

We get that the onus is on Wordpress to fix this but Plesk developed and is responsible for managing the extension - simplest thing they can do is add an alert mute/silence feature to silence the annoying visual and email alerts. Really, it's that simple!

    Question Upgrade MariaDB

Yes, it is possible but do not follow MariaDB's online instructions to upgrading (removing old 10.2 and installing 10.3) as it will hose your mysql directory. Backup your mysql directory first, disabled watchdog if using it, change your MariaDB version from 10.2 to 10.3 in the repository file...

Input How to compile NGINX with additional modules ( pagespeed / cache_purge / headers-more / and others )

@UFHH01 A quick FYI ... Nginx appears to have been updated by Plesk despite it being locked via CP to prevent updates. This occurred together with the recent passenger updates Updating: mod_passenger x86_64 5.1.11-centos7.17102310...

    Question Rejecting SPAM emails

Ideally spam rejection should occur while the connection is active to avoid becoming the originator of bounce email. So you'll need to install and configure an additional smtp proxy or milter to accomplish this unless Plesk decides to build this capability into its mail management services...

Resolved Anyone have any issue with upgrade 17 to 17.5 (and using ASL)

No major issues to report with Atomic's modsecurity rules other than having to manually reinstall modsecurity plugin for the updates to continue to work.. not sure about ASL though.

Input How to compile NGINX with additional modules ( pagespeed / cache_purge / headers-more / and others )

@UFHH01 Many thanks for updating the guide. Quick note though - 'text/html' needs to be removed from brotli_types as it causes a warning to be displayed due to the mime type being enabled by default. Edit: I also recommend adding X25519, P-521 and P-256 to ssl_ecdh_curve parameter ie...

Thanks for this contribution. However, I just realized my ssl enabled sites' static files are not being served via nginx/http2 nor is ALPN supported on Centos 7 due to openssl 1.0.1e.. I would suggest adding: # wget https://www.openssl.org/source/openssl-1.1.0f.tar.gz /usr/local/src # tar...

Resolved plesk repair fs and custom backup locations | v17.5.3 - Resolved in v17.8

Good to know, thanks IgorG. It will be a while until the preview release is considered/marked stable for us late adopters. Not that the bug is a show stopper but will the fix be pushed to the current stable release?

Question Let's Encrypt on admin panel

I'm not sure how the initial Let's Encrypt cert for Plesk was installed by the security adviser as Let's Encrypt verifies domains via port 80, port 443 and TXT DNS record for non-standard ports ie. 8443 As UFHH01 suggested, if your plesk domain is panel.host.com then create a domain...
