    Thank you for your reply , I have already tuned mysql , apache and nginx ... I believe that the problem relies on mysql .. anyway I formatted the server and I made a restore ..

    yes i can connect from ssh also I don't believe that this has to do with firewall as if I leave it for a long time it finally connects . this curl error is the reason that this error occurs but I cannot understand why .

    Hello , I have a fresh installation of plesk 11.0.9 as the update crashed everything . I try to connect to my personal ftp repository but it hangs out . The only thing that I changed is that I installed php-suhosin which updated php to 5.3.15 any help appreciated best regards, John
