    Webspace dropdown menu not alphabetical

Have to say this is still an issue for me today. Surely this is the easiest fix in the world? Can't you just make it alphabetical Parallels? SELECT *data* FROM TABLE *joins* WHERE *whereclause* ORDER BY *orderclause* ASC There you go!

    File system loop detected

We've got this exact same problem today. What's the solution? It's very annoying that there are lots of people on this thread with the same problem but yet nobody has posted how to fix it! When we run: ls -ldi /var/named/chroot/var/named/ /var/named The inode numbers are the same, but we...

    Understanding Webspaces

OK I see. We managed Plesk in power-user mode, so don't see Customers. Is this only available when you switch to the other mode? Previously using Plesk 8.x and 9.x we did setup Clients such as "Our own sites", "Customer X's Sites", "Customer Y's Sites", and this worked quite well. The...

    Understanding Webspaces

I assume its basically the same as "Clients" as in Plesk 8.6 that we're currently using on an older server, right? But yes I think Webspaces is a bit confusing.

    Webspace dropdown menu not alphabetical

It would save us a click and a page load, so yes I think we would use it still.

    Webspace dropdown menu not alphabetical

For web design companies like ourselves who host many websites all for unique customers, wouldn't this be a common issue?

    Webspace dropdown menu not alphabetical

Hi Sergey, We have over 100 different customers, each of which has been created within a webspace. So as you can imagine the list becomes quite meaningless, and we have to always view the webspaces page in full. Chris.

    Understanding Webspaces

Hi Sergey, Ok so the approach that we're using at the moment is correct, to create a different webspace for each customer we have? Chris

    Renaming a webspace (PLESK 10.4)

Gary did you ever get an answer to this? Is it only possible to name a webspace as a domain? This seems very limiting if so.

    Understanding Webspaces

Further to my question above. The fact that you have to give a webspace a domain name instead of just a generic name sort of limits the approach with webspaces. For example if we did create a webspace for a large bunch of customers, we would have to pick a certain domain, or just a random...

    Understanding Webspaces

Hi, Using Plesk 11.0.9, and having a little trouble understanding webspaces. We're a web design company, and we currently have an old server running Plesk 8.6, and we host around 120 different domains, most of which are for different customers. So we probably have 100 different customers...

    Webspace dropdown menu not alphabetical

Hi Guys, Been a Plesk user since 8.6, and have to admit the new interface in 10.x and 11.x is taking some getting used to. First gripe is why is the dropdown list of Webspaces not in any order? I have lots of different webspaces for different customers, and its just in one unorganized...

FTP problem (530) for ALL sites - Help!

SOLVED! SERVER NAME LONGER THAN 10 CHARACTERS IS THE PROBLEM! I'd like to respond to this post, as we've recently taken on a brand new server which had the SAME problem as my original problem in this thread. We never solved the original issue, and resorted to a bunch of workarounds...

Vulnerabilities in old Plesk versions on Windows - Patch Issue

I have exactly the same problem after applying the patches, and I have restarted the server too to no avail. What do I need to do next to restore access? My server was infiltrated by the malicious code on a approximately 10 different websites so I cannot roll the files back. Help! Chris.

FTP problem (530) for ALL sites - Help!

I've just run both those commands, and can see ftp sites created with each IP address (we have 1 shared, and 6 exclusive IP's currently). The commands seemed to complete ok. However I still get the same message when I try to login to one of the shared IP sites "home directory inacessible"...

FTP problem (530) for ALL sites - Help!

Hi, I agree with you that I shouldn't have to go into IIS to configure the ftp sites, this is what Plesk should do. However none of the ftp accounts would let me connect after just setting them in Plesk - they all gave "home directory inaccessible". So there is no choice but to use IIS for...

FTP problem (530) for ALL sites - Help!

Hi, This is not the problem I am having. The problem is with the new way that Windows Server 2008 R2 manages FTP Publishing. In IIS I have managed to get a single FTP account working for each specific IP. I have one IP address which will be shared and used for multiple websites, but can...

FTP problem (530) for ALL sites - Help!

Hi, We have a new dedicated server with the following spec: - Windows 2008 64-bit R2 - Plesk 10.3 We are having trouble with FTP access for newly created websites in Plesk. We've created new sites with FTP accounts just as we have done hundreds of times before on two other servers...
