It's not solution for me. Files uploaded trough ftp has owner set as domain owner so the same as backup process running user I guess. If I setup some crontab job to change permissions for these files it will block me from downloading them trough ftp also. I'm doing couple of different backup...

Is there a way to exclude specific directories or files from Plesk backup? Before I upgraded to 12.5 I could do it by creating hidden directory (name starting with .) and Plesk backup script didn't include it in backup by default. But does it let you install and control java apps for domains from control panel itself?

I've also tried to install Tomcat 7 on CeontOS 6.5 with Plesk 12 with no luck. I mean I can install Tomcat 7 manually or from os repos but Plesk can not recognize it installed and apps manager is missing for domains. It seems that everything in Plesk is hard coded for Tomcat 6 only.

I have ModSecurity installed and enabled for scanning and blocking but it does not block anything. Tried different rule sets including basic and paid Atomic and Comodo. Rule sets are downloaded fine to /etc/httpd/conf/modsecurity.d/rules/. It does write to modsec_audit.log but doesn't give 403...

It was fixed but now it gives another error for scheduled backups: Unable to rotate dump: The dump rotation is failed with code '1' at /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/plesk_agent_manager line 1041.

Had the same problem. CentOS 5.4 with Plesk 9.3 running. What I did was stopping Plesk before running autoinstaller update (/etc/rc.d/init.d/psa stop). Updated successfully after that.

It's not that. It's something from Plesk for sure (check my previous reply). Server has 4GB ram and usually ~3GB are free. Processes are killed at 00:36 every time so it's nothing random.
