This is still occurring now on the latest Plesk 11.5 On Ubuntu 12.04/LTS.
Its a ridiculous bug - you reboot the server and unless you check you are not aware you have no firewall.
Not great in terms of security.

I have tried the equivlent in debian/ubuntu
i.e :-
echo php5 hold | dpkg --set-selections
That then causes a dependecy hell with Plesk updates....

Thats not the point at all......
The point is that since the autoupdater features in Plesk 10.x if you have a custom compiled version of PHP it gets automatically replaced by the Plesk autoupdater (this has happened on multiple servers / different distros.... ALL were fine on Plesk 9...

For PCI compliance I need to make all domains use the apache 'Options -Indexes'
However I notice that plesk by default uses Options +Indexes and its in all the domains
/var/www/vhosts/xxxxxx.co.uk/conf/httpd.include file
