plz Help For add new domain ftp error:

I had this aswell a while ago when I was using FileZilla FTP Client, try using CuteFTP Pro

Please check your Parallels Plesk Panel version, for the symptoms you specified look similar to the ones described in the following Knowledge Base article:

Hello,

Please, make sure that it is not IIS cache that causes this problem:

1. Clean up IIS FTP service cache. To reset FTP cache restart IIS FTP service

net stop MSFTPSvc
net start MSFTPSvc


2. Disable IIS FTP cache. To completely disable caching set the following parameter:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\InetInfo\Parameters\DisableMemoryCache DWORD 1

Did you try this?
"%plesk_bin%\ftpmng.exe" --remove-all "%plesk_bin%\ftpmng.exe" --reconfigure-all

Also, check if domain FTP user on the server, Computer management > Local users and groups;
make sure it exists, is it is not disabled and is not locked.

why why why .. any, repeat ANY, installation of Plesk have different issue from the last ??

we installed plesk 10 on win server 2008 r2
ftp not work
we get
530 User cannot log in, home directory inacessible

We have check any KB on plesk and help on forum..

Any idea how to solve this ?

Hi,

i created about 20 domains, everything works fine so far!
But the last 2 domains, i created, has the "530 User Doamin cannot log in, home directory inaccessible." ftp Problem...

i did everything - recreating domains, checking permissions of folders...
i recognized that plesk now "forget" to add the plesk domain users to a group called MSFTP7_0977148...
but why, and why isnt the problem solved when i add those users to this group - and also restarted the server.

Plesk Version: 10.1.1
on a Windows Server 2008 64bit
