Accessing FTP

This is going to sound like a really stupid question, but how do you access the main FTP account???

I've tried enabling the FTP details in the Domain -> Hosting -> Setup area, but these details don't connect, plus when I go to File Manager I get this error:

Error: Unable to resolve path to file /var/www/vhosts/mk-v.co.uk/ - yet this does exist as I've used putty to connect.

It's likely something really silly I'm missing but this is driving me nuts!!

Thanks

Jason

Hi,

Use your your domains IP or domain name (if it resolves whitout any additional paths)
It is chrooted environment, all domains have single and separate ftp users. You find them in the setup section of each domain.

Thanks - I eventually rang the hosting company and they said to delete the domain and start again, it seems something messed up when they set it all up.

Cheers

Jason
