Actinic configuration

I have just leased a dedicated server with a Plesk 7.5 administration control panel.

I am trying to configure server settings for Actinic e-commerce to upload e-commerce websites. The upload process keeps failing "unable to write to specified directory". Actinic is logging on as the site administrator who created the sites, so I can't understand why this is.

Does anyone have any experience of using Actinic on a Plesk server and can advice be given on the server settings?

The cgi-bin for the domain you are trying to configure Actinic for needs to be publicly writeable 'chmod 750'
