Version : psa v8.2.1_build82070918.10 os_SuSE 10.2
OS : Linux 2.6.18.8-0.5-default

Last Weekend i updatet to Plesk 8.2.1
since this time i can not use AWstats, statistic will not be created within more than 24 hours.

so i first read here in forum what can i do. but nothing shows effect.
i tried first by putty
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/statistics >/dev/null 2>&1
nothing happens

second test
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/statistics
a long error list appears in putty

has someone a good ideea to manage this problem

thaks a lot

thanks for the interest, here the Error lines from putty.
There are 4 domains on the server and i changed 3 to webalizer and there is function ok, only the cron job to actualise is manual to be written i think

the error log is from the domain i changed for the test to awstats

Thanks Thilo

/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/statistics

run this
Code:
grep -i 'awstats' /etc/psa/psa.conf

For me on RHEL4 using Plesk 8.2.1 mine is
Code:
# AWStats
AWSTATS_ETC_D /etc/awstats
AWSTATS_TOOLS_D /usr/share/awstats/tools
AWSTATS_DOC_D /var/www/html/awstats
AWSTATS_BIN_D /usr/share/awstats/wwwroot/cgi-bin

make sure your paths are set properly

Also, make sure you have /usr/local/psa/etc/awstats/ directory. it is looking there for your config files and you should have it. if you dont, create it and run the statistics again

Thanks a lot
but no function

the grep comand works fine
AWstat answer is correct i think
directory is ok  but no config inside

code:
Error: Couldn't open config file "awstats.sps-cnc.de-http.conf" nor "awstats.con

end code:

so i serched the awstats_configure.pl but i didnt find this file, only 3 conf files to edit
i read them and now i'll think i have to make a break and have a kitkat or something else ;) to find out what i have to write in config files amd where with wich name i have to put them.

Last Plesk version i had nothing to do with such things it was automaticcally

Thanks a lot Thilo

it became a more complicated issue...
probably better to contact support team of SWsoft

its looking for awstats.bottich.com-http.conf (among others) so find that first.

Code:
updatedb
locate awstats.bottich.com-http.conf

Then see where it exists.

You may have to sym link the directory is plesk is looking for to the directory in which the confs reside if different.

If they dont exist at all, then you got other problems.
