Can I remove Zend Optimizer?

Pagemakers

Silver Pleskian
I have 2 identical Plesk 7.54 servers.

Zend Optimizer has been installed on one of them a couple of years ago - I have no idea why ;)

Is there anyway I can tell if any server applications are using this software and if not, how do I go about un-installing it?

Thanks.

No easy way to see if Zend is used, it's required for encrypted Zend packages only. Maybe to search for the content of PHP scripts.
The only solution I see is to uninstall it and wait for complains :)

As far as I know you can simply uncomment the Zend-related lines in your php.ini. They're all the way to the bottom. That won't remove your Zend installation, but it will disable it, and you can easily enable it again if your customers start complaining :)
