    Hi there,

I'm having problems accessing a protected directory.

I've set it up in plex with no errors, and the directory is created, but I cannot access it using the username and password I've allowed access with.

I can access awstats via the protected directory fine, and another domain on the same server has no such issues.

When I check the error log I see:

[Thu Jul 26 10:05:57 2007] [error] [client 90.197.170.63] Directory index forbidden by rule: /var/www/vhosts/smartphonesoft.com/httpdocs/admin2/
[Thu Jul 26 10:06:07 2007] [error] [client 90.197.170.63] (2)No such file or directory: Could not open password file: /etc/.htpasswd
    [Thu Jul 26 10:06:07 2007] [error] [client 90.197.170.63] user smart07 not found: /admin
[Thu Jul 26 10:06:13 2007] [error] [client 90.197.170.63] (2)No such file or directory: Could not open password file: /etc/.htpasswd
    [Thu Jul 26 10:06:13 2007] [error] [client 90.197.170.63] user smart07 not found: /admin

    thanks for any help.

    Greg
