wow..been searching for hours for someo0ne having this same problem... can't believe ii am the only one!!??

OK i have followed the instructions exactly:

I have installed fedora core 5 on a minimac... seems to be working fine.

so i go to the terminal, log in as root.

then i do:

setenforce 0

# Change your working directory to the directory where the Auto-installer utility resides, for instance:

# cd /root/plesk

# Set the execution permission for Auto-installer:

# chmod +x plesk_auto_installer_file_name

# Run the Auto-installer:

# ./plesk_auto_installer_file_name

i ALWAYS GET "cannot execute binary"

I AM GOING CRAZY SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!!!

I have done the chmod every way possible

+ yes i am pretty sure i have the right version on the installer

anyway ... shouldn't i be able to to just run the installer from the desktop x ?

if i double click it absolutley nothing happens?

Did you install on an Intel of PowerPC Mac? I don't think the PowerPC version of Fedora is supported.

You know there is an autoinstaller for Mac OS X 10.4 Workstation (PowerPC)?

yes its a g4 or g5 ppc. not intel.

i saw that there is a version for "Mac OS X 10.4 Workstation"

i have never heard of a os x workstation? i tried to find out what it is but couldn't find it anywhere... that's why i went to fedora!!!

are you telling me that os x workstation is just normal Mac OS X ????

why dont they say that on the plesk site!

i thought os x workstation was some kind of weird main-frame thing..?

you think i can install plesk on normal OS X 10.4?

ok i found the link for the osx version

BUT THE LINK IS BROKEN !!!!

AAAARRRGGG

http://download1.swsoft.com/Plesk/P...d81070224.19_os_MacOS_10.4w_powerpc.sh.tar.gz

comon guys....!

the release notes link is broken too...

Is this just me??

yes its a g4 or g5 ppc. not intel.

Plesk for Fedora is only available for x86 architecture.

Yes, OS X Workstation is the 'regular' OS X for normal workstations. OS X Server is the version for servers (XServe).

why dont they say that on the plesk site!

I'm guessing they added 'Workstation' to make it clear that it won't work on OS X Server.

i thought os x workstation was some kind of weird main-frame thing..?

Yes, you can.

and where is the download page for the "MacOS X 10.4 Workstation (PowerPC version only)" version???

cant see it anywhere!!!!

help me!!!!!!

It's on the regular download page: http://www.swsoft.com/en/download/plesk8/

And don't forget to keep breathing.
