can't delete files in file manager

can't delete files in file manager
I can't delete any files from my "file manager" under the httpdocs section
i keep selecting the files for deletion and the confirming, but they never get deleted!!

i just don't get it.

i loaded the site yesterday, everything was working.
today - i get a server error message.

everything was working like clock work yesterday and now everything is - not working - and of course..... no one is answering my tickets!!!!!

this is really turning out to be a bit of a nightmare...

some help please??????

Possibly there is missed permissions for files. It seems you should check/fix permissions via Plesk CP -> Domains -> mark domain -> click 'Check permissions' at the top of domains list.

i do not have this option on my web based plesk
i am using the web based version
plesk 7.5.5 for windows
i do not have a user cp option
there is just the domain option and there is nothing like what you have described there or any where else.

This is what i have on my control panel page....
as of just now i am able to delete files in my httpdocs folder but i am still not able to delete my mail boxes and receie mail.
