DNS error (Error code 80)

    hi,

    i am getting this error on plesk 8.2 on windows 2003 server
    -----------------------------------------------------------------
    Set default component failed: defpackagemng failed: Execute dnsmng.exe REMOVE * failed: The file exists. (Error code 80) at GetTempFileName in C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Plesk\admin\db\
    Execute dnsmng.exe UPDATE * failed: The file exists. (Error code 80) at GetTempFileName in C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Plesk\admin\db\
    --------------------------------------------------------------------

    in Component Management section, the DNS Server is switched off. i try to select BIND dns server and click OK but i get the error message above.

    can anyone help me please?

    Try to fix DNS server installation with the following command:

    > defpackagemng.exe --fix --type=dnsserver

    or even re-install it anew if you never used it.
