DNS Server Bind Error

Hi All

Hoping someone can help here as we have looked through the forums on a resolution to our problem.

We have a root server from 1&1 which was using plesk 8.0 and have now recently upgraded to 8.1.1 but the problem now being the dns bind has disabled and will not start.

We have tried to restart it but it gives the error below.


The error it gives is:

Unable to make action: Unable to manage service by dnsmng: dnsmng: Service /etc/init.d/named failed to start

Is there someone who experienced the same problem if so how did you resolve it.

Hi,

Have tried to reinstall only BIND module from plesk setup ? If not please try to reinstall bo=ind module and restart your server.

Please give this a check and let me know if you need further assistance.
