Dotnetnuke and sitepreview

I wish to test a site before the domain is delegated to it's webspace.

Has anyone successfully preview a DNN site before the domain is registered and delegated to the server.

My site is install on httpdocs/dnn directory.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
