Filemanager error

Hi all,
i've this error when i try to start the filemanager of only one domain:

FileList::init() failed: ls_dir_wrapper() failed: Unable to get file (E:\...) attributes: (5) Access is denied.

and often, when i modify some files on other domains, if i must see that file, popup a prompt that asks me user and password!

I've tryied a lot of solutions...but i have solved only the problem for the prompt!

Permissions

I am getting the same error for a domain in Windows Plesk 8.6.0.4.

Domain > File manager >

FileList::init() failed: ls_dir_wrapper() failed: Unable to get file (C:\inetpub\vhosts\domain.com) attributes: (5) Access is denied.
---------------------- Debug Info -------------------------------
0: htdocs\filemanager\filemanager.php:677

(I have replaced the actual domain name with "domain.com")

I guess this is an issue of permissions.

The "Web Directories" is Only listing the virtual directories and Not the contents of httpdocs. I was unable to create a new virtual directory along with physical directory. When I created a virtual directory (without physical directory), I got:

Information: You do not have permissions to list contents of this directory.

1. Delete .Security file that you can find in the root folder of every domain
2. Through Plesk control panel, went to domain list and checked every domain where we were having problems, and checked their permissions

Thank you for this solution, I too had this problem and deleting the .Security file and then running the permissions checker again solved the problem

I am having a similar problem and my hosting company does not seem to be very helpful.

The website is unaccessable, asking for a password.
The file directory is giving me access denied error.
Not sure what to do.

You guys propose to delete .security, but I can't get into the directory to do that.
Also, on the other domain that is fine, deleting .security gives me access denied as well.

What should I do?

Seems like permission problem. Permissions for domain user.
Try to reset permissions with:

"%plesk_bin%\websrvmng" --remove-vhost --vhost-name=domainname
"%plesk_bin%\websrvmng" --install-vhost --vhost-name=domainname

My website having problem

Please anyone can help me,

My site name is www.talentexcel.com, it will ask the username and password while loading.

insted of www.talentexcel.com if we give like www.talentexcel.com/home.htm I am able to access all the pages, the php pages does not loaded it shows "403 forbidden error"

I am not able to login to ftp,

Please help me, help me.
