how to add new field to the Packages

    if any one know
    how to add new field to the Packages so that it can be stored in Data Base and appear in Packages Web Page and can be set any time like any other Packages fields such as :

    Original Price:
    Current Price:
    Setup Price:
    Discount Percentage:
    Package Is Proratable:
    Package Price Lock Enabled:
    Tax Zone Group:
    Cycle Discount Group:

    In the product itself add a generic attribute

    but i have tried before but it doesn't help.
    i mean if you know the steps to add new field not only to packages but to any Modern Billing item
    like [Packages , Clients , Products, ...etc.]
    i mean what if i need to add new field related to clients such as [Gender] to appear over Client Details Page , Stored in DataBase and Retrived while Editing
    what shall i do ?

    Hi Fady,

    If you want to ask the question for all products\clients set a Order Form Attribute (System Settings > Custom Attributes
    ) then assign a question to the attribute. Hope that helps.

    i have created order form attribute [Client Gender] with Custom Question values [Male , Female] as you said , and may the attached pic Help you to ensure that i made it well.
    but when I read the Modern Billing Manual about Creating Custom Attribute it told me that :


    12-To view your work, go through the order process. Choose the order you have tied the attribute to, and proceed to the cart. You should see this question as part of the section Additional Customer Information.

    and the issue is that i need this created attribute to appear inside EditPrimaryContact Web Page, so that i can have this info [Gender] for Every Client

    It will appear under Attributes in the Client contact page, I'm not sure how to put it in the primary contact area unfortunately
