I have set up Suse ES9 clean install, I go to Plesk and download the 7.5 reloaded edition autoinstaller. I download it to the /tmp folder I chmod to .x I go to run it "./(filename) and then I get this (see below) I've tried downloading it with diffrent browsers, on a windows system and moving it on cd, etc, not luck.

linux:/tmp # ./psa_installer_v2.0.0_build75050908.11_os_SuSE_es9_ x86_64
bash: ./psa_installer_v2.0.0_build75050908.11_os_SuSE_es9_ x86_64: cannot execute binary file
linux:/tmp #

Any Ideas, I can't see where I'm messing up, I'm logged in as root, and I also tried as a user through the termal in su mode.

Thanks

Try obtaining the file directly from the linux box using the following commands:

cd /tmp
wget http://download1.swsoft.com/Plesk/P...er_v2.0.0_build75050908.11_os_SuSE_es9_x86_64
chmod +x psa_installer_v2.0.0_build75050908.11_os_SuSE_es9_x86_64
./psa_installer_v2.0.0_build75050908.11_os_SuSE_es9_x86_64

It's possible that while opening the file on the windows system, you changed the way the file operates (yes, windows messes up linux files, esp the ones that are to run binary). This should get you back to where you need to be.

Still having the same issue, I have copied the session so you can see it all.

Could this be the issue, isn't text ASCII not binary? not sure is this is a correct statement though.

Is there a way to forward this thread to support. I am evaluating Plesk and if I can't get support installing it I doubt support will improve if I was to purchase it.

No support from this company, I've chosen to go with direct admin, at least they respond to questions.
