License transfer

Hi:

I have a clean Plesk 8.2 installation on the target server. Does anyone know if Migration Manager will import my license from the source server?

Thanks

Hello.
Plesk Migration Manager does not import license from the source server. You have to install a license key for the target server to avoid limit problems during migration.
Thanks.

Solved

Thanks Andrey, I asked Plesk stuff for one and they've already sent it.

Migration failure

Hi again,

We get the following error just after at the third step of migration:

"Error: Unable to selectPlatform: Unable to run migrmng: The version of Plesk Migration Agent running on the remote host is older than the version of Plesk Migration Manager being currently used. Please install Plesk Migration Manager components of the same version."

But that is not true, both are the same build:

http://download1.swsoft.com/Plesk/Plesk8.2/Windows/PMM/070723.19/pmm82_build070723.19.msi
http://download1.swsoft.com/Plesk/Plesk8.2/Windows/PMM/070723.19/pmm_agent_build070723.19.msi

And both servers are running Plesk for Windows 8.2.0

I'm trying a backup/restore at the moment, hope that works...

Hello!

Could you send us log file with this error or post here lines with such phrase

"CrossSysAgent::CheckVersion. remoteVersion (...), localVersion (...)"

Log files place at <PLESK>PMM\Logs\Migration.log

Thanks.
