Manage MySQL permissions

jedidiah

New Pleskian
Hi everyone!

Just wondering, how do manage MySQL user permission via Plesk. I'm on a shared server. When I created a user from Plesk, it doesn't do anything else apart from setting username and password. When I go to phpmyadmin, I cannot do anything about setting permission either. It says "No Privileges".

Any ideas? Much appreciated.

Hi,

To manage privileges for users you need to be logged in as admin in PhpMyAdmin:

go to Plesk > Server > database servers > mysql serv > webadmin

Thanks bender, but if I go to webadmin (phpmyadmin), it shows "No Privileges", therefore I can't do anything about modifying permissions. I have recreated all db users, but apparently still no luck.
