Plesk 9.2.3 licence problem.

kanada

Basic Pleskian
Hello,

i've two servers with Plesk 9.2.3:
1st. Old installation on FC8, licence key updated from PSK8.6-...-9.2.
2nd. New installation on FC11, that same licence key, but when i'm trying to set it up into Plesk i got an error:
"Source file does not contain Plesk key".

Could somebody tell me how can i convert old version Plesk licence keyfile format (.sh) to newone (.xml)? It's possible?

How you have tried install this key? Is first server with this license key was stopped? You can find license in XML format here /etc/sw/keys/keys/ and install it on new server via License manager.

I have tried install this key via web and server console with no luck.

Could you tell me how SWsoft determine current number of servers installed with actual key license? (if i have license to e.g. 10 servers). I can install 10 servers on that same license, but i can reinstall one server x10 times too.

Thanks for the key location, i'll try do this.

Regards,
Alex

Alex,

Actually, Key Administrator Server will determine this license infringement and if it long proceeds, your licence will be automatically cancelled.
