    Hello

    Using Plesk Expand 2.3.2, I had two Central DNS Servers. One of them went offline for some reasons, I tried to remove it from Plesk Expand, before that I de-assigned it from plesk servers and then attempted to remove it from plesk expand but I faced to this error:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no" ?>
    <packet action_id="220831" version="2.3.2.17">
    <del>
    <system>
    <status>error</status>
    <errcode>4000</errcode>
    <errtext>Cannot delete or update a parent row: a foreign key constraint fails (`expand/cdns_zone_instance`, CONSTRAINT `cdns_zone_instance_ibfk_3` FOREIGN KEY (`dns_server_id`) REFERENCES `dns_server` (`id`)). Error query: DELETE FROM dns_server WHERE id = 1</errtext>
    </system>
    </del>
    </packet>

    Any clues, suggestions or same experience?!

    TIA
    Cheers

    The simple way - create temporary DNS server with same IP address and port values. We shall fix this issue in next version of Parallels Plesk Expand.

    Worked for me thanks gold

    But I've expected a better way, I mean without having to bring up a DNS server.
