Ruby Rails

Hello

We are struggling with Ruby Apps, we have a clean install of CENTOS 5
when we create a rails app we get error 500, evything works out ok when we access through port 3000 using script/server but not through apache.

We have used the plesk instructions.

does the plesk installer install eveything that is required or do we have to install Ruby, Rails Gem etc ourselves

Have you checked the error_log for the domain? If you've installed the Rails component of Plesk then you should have both Ruby and Rails installed.

mod_rewrite: maximum number of internal redirects reached. Assuming configuration error. Use 'RewriteOptions MaxRedirects' to increase the limit if neccessary.

Do you have an update on this? We are really struggling to get Ruby on Rails working with the information provided by Parallels.

I'd try the docs for Plesk 8.4 here: http://download1.swsoft.com/Plesk/P...nistrators-guide/index.htm?fileName=37435.htm If it doesn't work click the 'Send feedback'-link in the upper right corner and let them know the docs are not working. (They're talking about an htdocs dirs, I guess they mean httpdocs, so you could at least report that.)
