Issue Server Backups

Dave W

Regular Pleskian
Why are Server wide backups enabled by default?
Storing backups on the server itself does nothing apart from using diskspace!

Grrrr!

I'm not aware of Server wide backups enabled by default. Which Plesk version is this?

Anyway, you can easily configured this to use external storage such as S3.

Version 18.0.35 Update #1

Shouldn't be enabled by default regardless of how easy it is to configure.

FWIW it does protect against a variety of scenerios.

I'm guessing Plesk doesn't want to deal with tickets saying "I accidentally deleted my subscription, can you recover?"

Anyone know if this can be disabled via cmd line, I dont see anything in the manual for disabling the backup schedule?

Cheers
D.
