• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

SMTP timeout - Error 0x8004210B

Dear All,

I have a customer who is running on Windows Vista. Encountered error when sending emails with 2M file attachment. Error message reads :"Sending repeated error (0x8004210B): The operation timed out waiting for a response from the sending (SMTP) server. If you continue to receive this message contact your server administrator or ISP".
The email is stuck in the outbox. Yet, his recipients received the email mulitple times.
Tried using his gmail account to send the same email and it goes out smoothly.
Tried using back the same account to send email without file attachment, the email goes out smoothly.
We tested from his other email accounts from their domain and was able to send out the 2M attachment succesfully.
Couldnt figure out what is wrong, please kindly advice if there is anything i could set at plesk or in the outlook.
