This *is* possible if you set Server Mail settings for:
Only use of full POP3/IMAP mail accounts names is allowed
Then you should be able to create the same username and password for different domains. It works on my servers.
Then just notify any clients that may have their email client software set for just 'username' instead of '[email protected]', that they will have to change their login info to include the @domain.com part.
