Trial hosting - how to implement?

Discussion in 'Customer&Business Manager (formerly Plesk Billing)' started by EugeneL, May 22, 2012.

How trial hosting should work?

  1. Trial is a very limited hosting which must be upgraded to full-featured service when trial is over

  2. Trial is a full-featured hosting provided for free during trial period

  3. Other scenario. If you choose this, please describe your scenario in the thread below.

I think most of hosting providers have such option as a trial hosting - when potential customer can try service for some small period and then either start paying or go away.

Could you please describe how this feature should wrk to suit your needs?
Option 1 - trial hosting is a strictly limited hosting which must be manually upgraded to full-featured hosting at the end of trial period. Otherwise trial subscription will be terminated shortly after trial s over.
Option 2 - trial hosting is a normal full-featured hosting which is simply provided for free during trial period. When trial is over, customer must cancel this hosting or he will automatically receive a bill. Or as another scenario customer must manually ask to renew this trial hosting to normal otherwise hosting will be terminated.
