Anyone know commands to update plesk using shell or if it is even possible? thanks
There is command-line autoinstaller capable for updating. You can also manually update RPMs or use APT for Debian.
how to? Are the instructions in plesk manual?
Re: how to? Dunno. Never read this Just downloaded autoinstaller from the site, started it and it proposed me to upgrade.
how did u do it? Can u let me know (i'm kinda new to shell) how you uploaded it using shell and then initialized it? thanks
Re: how did u do it? Of course I usually use wget for downloading on the server side. Autoinstallers runs just like this: ./<autoinsaller_file>. ps: I may recommend you to get any tutorial about Unix shells & administration. It helps.
If you add one of the PSA channels from my site to your yum.conf/yum.repo.d you can update it that way as well.
