Updater Errors

pould

Basic Pleskian
Wonder if anyone can help me. I'm receiving the following error when attempting to update the base package of Plesk (already on version 9) and add in Horde Webmail Support.

Unfortunately I know next to nothing about Unix, so unless someone holds my hand I'm unable to do any command line work (I know how to use putty to get shell access, but beyond that I'm pretty lost).

This is the error reporting from Plesk:

Parallels Products Installer 3.4.0 (build at 2008-11-15 22:24 svn rev. 0) started at (timezone GMT) Fri Dec 26 12:23:09 2008

You are not alone.

I'm getting this error when I click on the Updater icon in Plesk 9.0.0:

Error: Error: Failed to download the package http://autoinstall.plesk.com/PSA_9.0.0/plesk-9.0.0-suse10.1-i386.inf3:
The requested URL returned error: 403

I checked the link, http://autoinstall.plesk.com/PSA_9.0.0/plesk-9.0.0-suse10.1-i386.inf3, and it works just fine, opening an xml file. Plesk 9 is pretty much beyond hope.

(Cannot allocate memory) error means that there are not enough resources on your server to run installer. Increasing it will solve the problem.

Thanks,

I'm on a VPS, so I suspended the domains (running about 6 MySQL databases) and there was no further problem. Install went fine.
