    Hi.

I have not bought any licences yet, but I can't seem to install through the webinstaller..

    https://expand-webinstall.swsoft.com/wui/

    I get the following error:

Error code #1001: Unable to connect. No matching comp found: client zlib server none,zlib@openssh.com

Is there something I have to install on the server before I try to install via the webinstaller?

The problem is in OpenSSH server. Enable compression in your OpenSSh server:
add or uncomment "Compression yes" line in your
/etc/openssh/sshd_config file (and restart sshd then). That shall help according to OpenSSH developers note.

OK, thanks .. That worked :D

    Entered the information, and waited...
It loaded the core, and this is the error I now encounter:

Error code #1000: Generic WUI error. AI core finished with exit code 2

Are you sure sftp subsystem enabled in your system?

Look at your /etc/openssh/sshd_config and check this line:
    Subsystem sftp /usr/lib/openssh/sftp-server
It should not be commented out with #-sign.

This is what I'm having problems with now..

The sftp thing I got covered, it was a problem with another server I got..

Error code #1000: Generic WUI error. AI core finished with exit code 2

    How can I fix this?

The error is not clear. Try checking
/tmp/product_installer.log on the target host for more details. Sometimes autoinstallation process fails due to SELinux limitations (you can disable it temporarily while installation proceeds).

Unfortunately our webinstaller works for RPM-based OSes only for now - the ones like Redhat, CentOS, Fedora.

Please download and run the following script to get Plesk Expand for Debian installed on your host:
Autoinstaller for Debian GNU Linux 3.1/4.0 OS

Then what kind of software do you provide that I can use on SuSE?

Look at Plesk for Linux, Sitebuilder for Linux, HSPComplete (SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 only), Virtuozzo, Confixx and PEM probably.
